Thunbergia erecta
Although other Thunbergia are climbers, this species is a straggly bush, so you could train it as a climber, but I keep it trimmed as a small bush.
The wild variety is deep blue and the flowers are relatively small. Modern varieties have flowers double the size. The white variety is quite variable, so even on a single branch, you may have flowers that are light blue, variagated in blue and white patches or stripes, and all white. In general, the all-white flowers tend to be on the outside. It is continuously in flower from October to May.
It is fairly hardy providing you keep it in the shade and give it plenty of water (in the wild, it is a rain forest species). It is susceptible to mealybug (so watch out for distorted leaves, which are an indicator that mealybugs are there somewhere).
