Hibiscus schizopetalus (Frilly Hibiscus)
A fairly hardy hibiscus that grows as a straggly bush, unlike the more compact H. rosa-sinensis. The major problem is that it grows long slender branches and then flowers at the tip, so if you try and keep the plant compact, how do you get flowers?
The flowers are pendant, with frilly petals and may be red/ pink/ or white.
