These are a bit tricky as seedlings, since you have to be very careful when watering. They are very susceptible to stem rot, so if you knock the plant over, they will die - best to water with a small watering can. Once they reach a moderate size, they are more stable and easy to grow.
They need full sun or they will never flower. The flowers are rather similar to marigold in yellow and orange. They are usually grown as doubles (as in photo), but can also be singles (a single circle of petals). Unlike marigolds, the plant becomes quite bushy. They flower continuously, but it is best to cut off dead flowers to prevent seed production.
