Hippeastrum cybister (Cybister)
Although an Hippeastrum, it is very different from normal both in its appearance and ecology. Cybister should not be dried out and will flower several times a year. It produces large thin red flowers. The leaves are typical Hippeastrum-like long strap leaves.
In the summer, it should be kept in the shade, but in winter, it flowers best in partial sun
